Swami Ramdev to visit Isles from December 27 to 31

Yog Rishi, Swami Ramdevji will be visiting these Islands in December 2015. A five day yog camp will be organised for the benefit of the Islanders during his visit from December 27 to 31, 2015, informed the Mukhya Kendra Prabhari, Patanjali Yog Peeth, Haridwar, Shri Rakesh Kumar, currently on visit to the Islands along with Shri Subroto Mukherjee, Kendra Prabhari, Patanjali Yog Peeth, Haridwar, during a press conference at Vivekananda Kendra, Lambaline here this evening. 

Shri Rakesh informed that during the five day yog camp, Swamiji will conduct free yoga camp from 5 to 7 am between December 27 & 31, 2015, which will include special yoga for children for growth, ailments, reduction in fast food habits etc., to be conducted by the Swamiji himself. This yoga will also benefit ailing and ageing people of the Islands. For this, around 100 centers will be set up for registration of those interested in attending the camp, he said. If required, the Yog Rishi will visit other Islands too for conducting yoga camps, he said.

The Mukhya Kendra Prabhari said that this was a long felt need of the Islanders, which the Swamiji will now fulfil despite his busy schedules, especially because the Islands are known to be a place of pilgrimage, he said.
