Cross country race held by GSS Mile Tilak

On the occasion of the 70th Independence Day GSS Mile Tilak organized a cross country race for the girls and boys students of the school with the title 'Swatantrata Daud'. About 20 students of the school participated in the race which was flagged off by Shri Karunanidhi, retired govt. servant of the area in the presence of the Headmistress incharge Smti Sarala Rajkumari and other teachers of the school from the Agriculture Form, Jirkatang. The 2 KM race was won by Saurabh of class VI for boys followed by Ankit of Class V and Satish Kumar of Class VI as second and third respectively. In the girls category the race was won by Sapna of Class VII followed by Reshma kumari of class IV and Pooja of class VIII, securing the second and third positions respectively.
