Khadi sales-cum-exhibition begins; varieties of khadi products on display

As part of the 147th birth anniversary celebration of Mahatma Gandhi, the A&N Administration is organizing various activities as mark of respect to the Father of the Nation. Accordingly, a 15 days Khadi Sales-cum-Exhibition from Sept 21st to Oct 3rd, got underway with its inauguration by the Secretary Industries, Smti Rashmi Singh in the presence of Padmashri Naresh Chander Lal, Director, Industries, Shri Ashok Sharma, Executive Officer, KVIB, Shri Sinha Roy and others, at Udyog Parisar complex, Middle Point this evening.
The Secretary, soon after inaugurating the exhibition, went around and evinced keen interest in the products on display. She also purchased few khadi products on the occasion.
Different Khadi products viz. Khadi Kurtas, Khadi silk sarees, shirts, agarbati and honey are on display at the exhibition-cum-sales.
