Power suspension

The Electricity Department will carry out maintenance and line clearance work on Panther-I and Panther-II main link between IPP Bambooflat and Port Blair on June 18, 2016. Due to this, if required, rotational load shedding on as and when required basis for about 45 minutes will be carried out in Port Blair and South Andaman area on June 18 between 7.30 am to 2 pm.  Meanwhile, the power supply will remain suspended in connection with carrying out HT line clearance work at Dhanikhari, Ograbraj, Tirur and Dundus Point areas from 8 am to 2 pm on June 18, 2016. The areas to be affected are Dhanikhari to Ograbraj, Ograbraj to Tirur and Ograbraj to Dundus Point, communications said.
